About The Position

Paws Up Montana is seeking Bartenders for its Food and Beverage department. Bartenders prepare cocktails and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to members and guests. They work alongside the Director of Food and Beverage, the Restaurant Manager, and Sommeliers, and provide knowledgeable service about wine, beer, and mixed drinks. The role includes taking and serving orders, advising guests, relaying dietary restrictions and special requests, collaborating with teammates, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and completing assigned opening and closing duties. Bartenders also assist with service functions as directed by management and help create a comfortable, professional dining environment. The position is part of Paws Up Montana, a luxury ranch resort. Requirements

High school diploma, GED, vocational training, or job-related coursework.
Must be 21 years or older, per Montana state law.
At least two years of bartending or closely related work experience.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Demonstrated customer service experience.
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving policy.

Responsibilities

Prepare alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages.
Assess guests’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
Take and serve orders, including answering questions about menus.
Relay special dietary restrictions and requests.
Collaborate with teammates to meet guests’ expectations.
Maintain a clean, organized dining room and workstation.
Perform opening and closing duties as assigned by leadership.
Create a comfortable and professional environment for guests.
Assist with necessary restaurant service functions as directed by the Manager or Director.
