About The Position

The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch is seeking a Bartender for its Private Club Dining & Lounge in Boerne, Texas. This role is responsible for preparing cocktails, beer, and wine while creating a welcoming environment for members. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong beverage knowledge, and the ability to engage naturally with members while maintaining professionalism. This position is more than just pouring drinks; it's about creating an atmosphere where members feel welcomed, known, and taken care of. The role requires a blend of craft beverage professionalism and hospitality ambassadorship.

Requirements

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred
• TABC certification required
• Food Handler certification required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Professional appearance aligned with club service standards

• Private club or upscale restaurant experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, professional service to members and guests
• Build genuine relationships with regular members
• Engage in authentic conversation while maintaining professionalism
• Create a welcoming and energetic bar environment
• Prepare classic cocktails, beer, and wine with consistency and accuracy
• Maintain strong knowledge of beverage offerings and menu features
• Offer thoughtful recommendations and upsell when appropriate
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar
• Ensure accurate member charges through the POS system
• Follow all TABC and health safety standards
• Communicate effectively with service and culinary teams
• Assist servers, runners, and hosts during busy service periods
• Support tournaments, watch parties, and club events
• Complete opening and closing side work efficiently
