BARTENDER (FULL TIME)
About The Position
The Bartender prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. The position is full time at the United Airlines DIA United Club West / B Concourse in Denver, Colorado. Days and hours may vary, with further schedule details provided during the interview. Previous experience is not necessary. The role includes setting up and stocking the bar, preparing garnishes and perishables, greeting guests, processing drink orders, mixing and presenting drinks according to standard recipes, checking identification, observing liquor laws, handling guest payments and securing cash and beverage products. The bartender also maintains an attractive display and a clean, organized work area, and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Follow state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, including rules for serving minors and intoxicated guests.
- Set up assigned bars and requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
- Maintain stock and prepare, cure, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
- Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Take or process drink orders; mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and prudent portion control.
- Check bar guests for proper identification.
- Recognize and respond to guest inebriation as trained and demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
- Receive cash, make change, verify charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed.
- Lock up and store beverage products, food, equipment, deposits, and cash drops, and secure the bank.
- Perform general cleaning tasks and keep the work area clean and organized in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
- Wash and sterilize stemware.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
