About The Position

At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, Bartenders craft cocktails, pour beer, and serve food, drinks, and entertainment to Guests. They create a welcoming environment and provide exceptional, timely service. Bartenders know the menu and make food and beverage suggestions while maintaining high standards for safety and sanitation.

The role includes engaging with Guests, recommending menu items, demonstrating knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails, delivering orders promptly, following alcohol laws and company procedures, processing payments, and maintaining a stocked, clean, and safe bar. Bartenders work with Management, Team Members, and Guests in a fast-paced environment and may work days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

The listed salary range is $11.98–$11.98. Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify in states where required.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of bartending experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alcohol certification, as required.
• Comply with company uniform standards.
• Be prepared to create a memorable Guest experience.
• Teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Ability to act with a swift sense of urgency.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, subject to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with all Guests, serving as an ambassador of FUN.
• Recommend menu items and ensure order accuracy.
• Use knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails when serving Guests.
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipate Guests’ needs.
• Follow local and state alcohol laws, procedures, and policies.
• Process payment transactions and invite Guests to return.
• Maintain a stocked, clean, and safe bar and complete necessary side work.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
