F&B Bartender
About The Position
Solé Miami is seeking a Bartender to prepare and mix beverages for guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner according to hotel standards, and to promote and up-sell drinks and drink promotions. The Bartender sets up and maintains the bar, serves guests efficiently and professionally, and ensures guest satisfaction while following hotel policies, safety rules, state liquor laws, and responsible alcohol-service procedures. The role also involves responding to guest concerns, knowing hotel services and emergency locations, and safely breaking down the bar after functions.
Requirements
- Prefer one year of bartending experience.
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Food Handler Certification required.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout a shift for up to 8 hours.
- Must be available to work a flexible shift, including weekends and holidays.

- One year of bartending experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and mix beverages and cocktails according to hotel mixing and presentation standards.
- Promote and up-sell drinks and drink promotions.
- Set up the bar according to hotel standards and ensure prompt, efficient guest service.
- Serve guests’ beverage requirements in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
- Break down the bar after functions and store liquor, supplies, and equipment according to hotel standards.
- Follow state liquor laws and prescribed procedures for serving alcohol responsibly, including preventing issues with intoxicated guests.
- Know hotel services and facilities.
- Abide by hotel policies and safety rules.
- Respond to guest problems, complaints, and accidents.
- Know the locations of fire exits and fire extinguishers and how to operate fire extinguishers.
- Keep the bar and service areas clean and tidy during service.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
