About The Position

The Bartender receives and prepares beverage orders from customers and cocktail servers, mixes alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard beverage recipes, and serves beverages according to established service procedures. The role also handles cash transactions and maintains an accurate bank, keeps the bar area and equipment clean, prepares written requisitions and orders for bar stock, and maintains and replenishes the ice supply. Bartenders greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a bartender preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prepare beverage orders from customers and cocktail servers.
• Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to memorized standard beverage recipes.
• Serve beverages in accordance with established service procedures.
• Operate the cash register, complete transactions according to procedures, and maintain an accurate bank.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by removing used glasses and napkins, emptying ashtrays, and wiping the bar top.
• Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Prepare written requisitions and orders for bar stock.
• Maintain and replenish the ice supply.
