Urban Egg is an elevated breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant focused on locally sourced ingredients and a clean, inviting, positive atmosphere. The Bartender/Barista prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks while providing friendly, attentive service and contributing to a welcoming guest experience. This is a tipped position. Urban Egg describes the role as offering ideal work hours so team members are home every night.

Requirements

Proven experience as a bartender, barista, or in a similar role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and health and safety standards.
Cash-handling and inventory-management skills.
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, cocktails, and specialty drinks.
Greet guests and help them select beverages and meals based on their preferences.
Keep the bar clean and organized while following health and safety standards.
Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed.
Serve alcohol responsibly and comply with state and licensing regulations.
Collaborate with team members to provide a seamless guest experience.
Stay informed about drink recipes, trends, and techniques to enhance service quality.
