About The Position

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a Cook for the Barrel Yard team at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Barrel Yard is a year-round restaurant. The Cook prepares food and beverage products according to recipes, preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines, and helps maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen while working cooperatively with coworkers and management.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of back-of-house experience.
• Attentive and detail-oriented.
• Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to follow procedures and directions and work as a team player.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Follow the supervisor’s assignments for opening and closing procedures and food production.
• Prepare food and beverage products by following recipe guidelines, proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines.
• Set up and operate kitchen equipment.
• Clean equipment according to the correct procedures.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
• Work cooperatively with coworkers and management.
