About The Position

Lactalis Heritage Dairy, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is hiring a Barrel Room employee in Tulare, California. Reporting to Grated Supervisor(s), this role demonstrates flexibility across all aspects of the barrel room, including barrel filling and sealing and forklift operations. The employee supports quality, sanitation, production, safety, training, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities, and is accountable for QRMP standards. Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

Work in a safe, sanitary, and productive manner in accordance with LHD GMPs.
Documented job performance and attendance records will be reviewed.
Specialized training or licenses relevant to the job.
Good business participation, such as Level 1, safety, and process improvement.
Experience in similar positions in the past.

Responsibilities

Perform work in all aspects of the barrel room, including barrel filling and sealing and forklift operations.
Maintain and track quality/CCP documentation.
Complete daily and master sanitation of the work area.
Provide coverage so team members can attend meetings, cross-train, or work on projects.
Learn multiple jobs as determined by team consensus.
Assist with period cleaning, downtime, TPM, other production needs, and emergency situations.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
Communicate and pass down business information.
Follow the TAP process to complete training requirements.
Complete failure analysis, including root cause and corrective action.
Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist with equipment troubleshooting and support maintenance when needed.
Perform other assignments as directed.
Meet QRMP standards as outlined in the plant’s QRMP accountability document, including their implementation, improvement, and ongoing maintenance.
Maintain regular attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
