About The Position

Life Alive is hiring a Barista for its Historic Salem location as part of the Front of House Service Team. The role focuses on guest service, supporting the espresso beverage program, preparing recipes according to standard procedures, and helping maintain an accurate, clean, and well-stocked café. Team members should communicate engagingly, collaborate with colleagues, show genuine interest in the menu, and embody Life Alive’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and delivery drivers.
• Support the espresso beverage program.
• Prepare recipes according to standard procedures.
• Achieve a ticket time goal of six minutes or less.
• Take orders and ensure order accuracy and packaging.
• Assist with running food from the line to tables.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness.
• Keep café stations clean and well-stocked.
• Communicate guest needs.
