About The Position

As a Barista at Starbucks, you help create a warm and welcoming space where coffee can spark connection. You engage with customers, learn their needs, and create meaningful moments through friendly service. The role involves preparing beverages and food to standard recipes or customizing orders, handling cash, and following store safety, security, and operating standards. Baristas may perform a variety of tasks during each shift in a fast-paced store environment. No previous experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash and follow store safety and security procedures.
• Engage with customers, understand their needs, and communicate clearly and pleasantly.
• Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer customizations, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or substitutions.
• Perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
