About The Position

Starbucks baristas create a warm and welcoming space where customers can connect over coffee. They prepare beverages and food to standard recipes or customize orders, engage with customers, and contribute to a positive experience in a fast-paced store environment. The role involves following store policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, safety, and security, and performing a variety of tasks during each shift. No previous experience is required.

Meet store operating policies and standards, including those for beverage and food quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.

Responsibilities

Provide customers with quality beverages and food products while following store operating policies and standards.
Engage with customers, understand their needs, and communicate clearly and pleasantly.
Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customize them according to customer requests, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or ingredients.
Handle cash and follow store safety and security standards.
Perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
