About The Position

Eurest is hiring full-time and part-time Baristas at Wayfair in Denver, Colorado. The Barista makes and serves coffee and espresso drinks and related food and beverage items, handles food according to HACCP guidelines and food-service quality standards, and interacts with customers and colleagues in a friendly, courteous manner. The position pays $18.00 to $19.00 per hour, with tips available on top of wages. Barista experience is required. Schedules are available Monday through Sunday, with hours that may vary; further scheduling details are provided during the interview. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the openings are filled. The job is with Eurest, a Compass Group company serving corporate clients and emphasizing service, food, community, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Barista experience is required.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
Enter orders accurately into a POS device and accept cash and charge payments.
Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining a clean service area.
Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, and follow HACCP standards.
Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils.
Prepare food using approved recipes and prescribed production standards.
Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
Thoroughly clean equipment and the workstation before leaving the area for other assignments.
Greet customers courteously and interact with them to ensure satisfaction; relay relevant customer concerns to supervisors.
Serve customers quickly and efficiently and prevent delays in serving lines.
Understand daily menu items and explain them accurately to customers.
Use selling techniques, communicate with customers, and assist with buying decisions.
Merchandise display foods attractively and serve food neatly according to standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
