Barista (NEW STORE, full and part time opportunities, Cyncoed CF23)
About The Position
Coffi Lab is hiring Baristas for its new Cyncoed store. Baristas are central to creating an exceptional customer experience by providing prompt service and great-tasting coffee in a warm, friendly, and engaging manner. The store is expected to open before Christmas and will operate seven days per week. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with rotas prepared at least a week in advance. Team members share opening and closing shifts; opening shifts can start as early as 6:30 a.m., and closing shifts finish around 6:30 p.m. The pay rate is £12.75 per hour. The role involves delighting customers through Coffi Lab’s customer service, preparing consistently well-presented coffee with basic latte art, following recipes and presentation standards, and understanding the milks served. Baristas also help keep the store spotless. The stores can be busy, so the role requires multitasking and following processes to maintain speed of service and product quality. The company is seeking dependable, communicative, organised, steady, and friendly team members who can work collaboratively, handle changing levels of activity, and create a welcoming experience for customers and colleagues. Experience in a high-volume retail, hospitality, or restaurant environment and previous coffee experience are desirable but not essential; full training and support will be provided.
