About The Position

Peet’s Coffee is hiring a seasonal Barista to prepare handcrafted beverages and products to the company’s standards and provide friendly, high-quality customer service. The role involves working collaboratively in a fast-paced coffeebar, helping maintain its cleanliness and stock, and supporting sales through product education and sampling. Employees must maintain availability for at least two days per week, including availability that meets business needs, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, or holidays. The stated pay is $20.25 per hour, with employees potentially earning an estimated average of $3.00 to $6.00 per hour in cash and electronic tips. Requirements

• Maintain schedule availability for at least two days per week, meeting business needs; this may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, or holidays.
• Be legally eligible to work in the country where the job is located.
• Be at least 16 years old.
• Comply with Peet’s Employment of Minors policies and work with and among minors, as applicable.
• Be able to perform various physical tasks during the work shift.

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by following Peet’s service steps and providing quality engagement and friendly service.
• Prepare handcrafted beverages and products to Peet’s standards for taste, appearance, and consistency.
• Collaborate with coworkers, seek feedback, and take initiative to support operations and a positive, team-oriented workplace.
• Drive sales through suggestive selling, product education, and sampling.
• Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance, punctuality, and timely completion of shift tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked coffeebar while working with urgency and composure in a fast-paced setting.
