About The Position

Peet’s Coffee is seeking a seasonal Barista to prepare handcrafted beverages and products to company standards and deliver friendly, high-quality customer service. The role supports coffeebar operations by collaborating with coworkers, driving sales through product education and suggestive selling, and keeping the work area clean, organized, and stocked in a fast-paced setting. Applicants must be available at least two days per week, subject to business needs that may include early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays. The position pays $20.25 per hour, with estimated average tips of $3.00 to $6.00 per hour. The specific wage may vary based on local wage requirements, geographic location, and market conditions.

Requirements

• Must maintain schedule availability of at least two days per week, meeting business needs that may include early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country where the job is located.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must comply with Peet’s Employment of Minors policies and be able to work with and among minors.
• Must be able to perform various physical tasks during the work shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by following Peet’s service steps and providing quality engagement and friendly service.
• Prepare handcrafted beverages and products to Peet’s standards for taste, appearance, and consistency.
• Collaborate with coworkers, seek feedback, and take initiative to support operations and a positive, team-oriented workplace.
• Drive sales through suggestive selling, product education, and sampling.
• Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance, punctuality, and timely completion of tasks throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked coffeebar while working with urgency and composure in a fast-paced setting.
• Perform various physical tasks during the work shift.
