About The Position

Canyon Ranch is hiring a Barista for Canyon Ranch Austin, a wellness destination in the Texas Hill Country scheduled to open in October 2026. The Barista prepares and serves coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, and other café items while providing welcoming, attentive guest service in a fast-paced resort environment. The role also involves taking orders, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring drinks meet consistent quality standards. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements

• Bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and warm hospitality to the role.
• Communicate effectively with a variety of guests.
• Have three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience.
• Be available flexibly, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Be able to regularly lift up to 40 pounds and remain active throughout shifts.
• Food Handler’s certification may be required depending on assignment.

• Previous Barista experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffees, espresso beverages, smoothies, and other café items to resort standards.
• Take and confirm guest orders, including special requests, using the hotel point-of-sale system.
• Anticipate guest needs, ensure satisfaction, and promptly address questions or concerns.
• Keep the bar and work areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Greet guests promptly and courteously with eye contact and a welcoming demeanor.
