About The Position

Canyon Ranch is hiring a Host for its new Austin wellness destination in Spicewood, Texas, scheduled to open in October 2026. The Host welcomes and greets guests, creates a positive first impression, and seats guests at properly set tables. The role supports restaurant operations by monitoring table availability, balancing seating, completing side work, maintaining knowledge of healthy cuisine and spa offerings, and keeping the dining venue clean and up to standard. It also includes administrative tasks and reporting guest concerns to supervisors. Part-time and full-time positions are available, with flexible availability across days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The pay rate starts at $20.19 and goes up to $21.63 per hour.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm, professionalism, and warm hospitality, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of guests.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs and remain active throughout shifts.
• Food Handler’s certification may be required depending on assignment.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of experience in food and beverage outside of fast food.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests warmly, make a positive first impression, and promptly seat them at properly set tables.
• Monitor table availability, balance seating, and assist with side work before, during, and after shifts.
• Maintain knowledge of healthy cuisine and spa offerings to answer guest questions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and standards throughout the dining venue, including restrooms, lounge areas, and mocktail stations.
• Complete administrative tasks such as server counts, menu abstracting, and filing.
• Report guest concerns or complaints to supervisors.
