About The Position
As a Barista at Starbucks, you help create a warm and welcoming space where every cup of coffee sparks connection. Each shift is an opportunity to brighten customers’ days through friendly service, such as offering a warm smile or remembering a favorite order. They engage with customers to understand and respond to their needs, handle cash, follow store safety and security policies, and perform a variety of tasks during each shift. Requirements

- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Able to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Able to prepare food and beverages to standard recipes and accommodate recipe changes, including changes to temperature or ingredient quantities and ingredient substitutions.
- Able to learn quickly.
- Able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to build relationships.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly customer service and communicate clearly and pleasantly.
- Engage with customers to understand and respond to their needs.
- Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes and customize orders as requested.
- Handle cash and follow store operating, quality, safety, and security standards.
- Perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
