About The Position

Starbucks baristas create a warm and welcoming space where coffee can spark connection and use each shift to brighten customers’ days. Baristas prepare beverages and food to standard recipes or customer specifications, provide friendly service, and may perform a variety of tasks during each shift.

Requirements

Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
Ability to learn quickly.
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.

Responsibilities

Provide quality beverages and food products in accordance with store operating policies and standards.
Engage with customers, understand their needs, and respond through clear and pleasant communication.
Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customize them to customer requests, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or ingredient substitutions.
Handle cash and follow store safety and security standards.
Perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
