About The Position
We’re looking for a part-time Barista to join Fitzgerald Café, located within Fitzgerald Pharmacy in Whitefish Bay, part of Hayat Pharmacy, a locally owned pharmacy group serving the Milwaukee area. This is a great fit for someone who already has hands-on barista experience and enjoys working in a smaller, high-quality café environment.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience required
- Experience with espresso machines strongly preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in drink preparation
- Friendly, professional communication with guests and team members
- Ability to stay organized and take initiative during slower and busier periods
Nice To Haves
- Experience in smaller cafés
- Experience with manual espresso machines
Responsibilities
- Preparing espresso-based drinks and other beverages with consistency and attention to detail, while creating a welcoming experience for guests.
- Taking orders and preparing drinks using espresso equipment and grinders
- Maintaining a clean, organized workspace throughout your shift
- Answering questions about menu items, ingredients, and allergens
- Handling payments accurately
- Supporting light food prep and restocking as needed
- Working independently at times while keeping service running smoothly
