About The Position
A Barista creates a warm and welcoming customer experience by preparing coffee, beverages, and food while making meaningful connections with customers. The role involves working in a fast-paced store environment, engaging with customers, responding to their needs, and contributing to a positive experience during each shift. No previous experience is required. Baristas may perform a variety of tasks throughout the store and are expected to follow operating standards for product quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
Requirements
- No previous experience is required.
- Be available for flexible hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Learn quickly.
- Understand and carry out oral and written instructions, and request clarification when needed.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
- Work effectively as part of a team and build relationships.
- Meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, understand their needs, and communicate clearly and pleasantly.
- Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer customizations.
- Follow store policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, safety, and security.
- Perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
