About The Position
The Barista prepares and serves drinks and food items in a warm, inviting manner while interacting with hotel guests and other patrons. The role involves building rapport with customers by learning their names and favorite drinks and food items, and explaining coffee and tea regions, flavor differences, and blends. Restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training is available for candidates eager to learn and positively impact guests.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Food Handler’s Permit.
- Friendly, outgoing personality and strong people skills.
- Ability to think on your feet and remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk, bend or twist, climb stairs, and occasionally carry or lift up to 25 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a restaurant.
Responsibilities
