About The Position
The Barista delivers exceptional customer experiences and contributes to store sales by driving sales and representing the Coach brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. The role involves engaging guests, maintaining knowledge of the menu, merchandise, and Coach brand heritage, promoting beverages, food, and merchandise, and supporting visual and operational standards. Baristas prepare handcrafted beverages using espresso machines, grinders, and ovens while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards. They collaborate with team members to solve problems and share selling strategies. The schedule is flexible to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days such as public holidays. The position requires regularly lifting at least 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, as well as climbing, bending, kneeling, and maneuvering through the sales floor and stockroom. Requirements
- Experience in customer-facing roles and delegating tasks.
- Organizational skills and ability to work with food and beverage operating systems.
- Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, including food safety and cash handling.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, busy season, and high-traffic retail days such as public holidays.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver through the sales floor and stockroom.
