About The Position

The Barback transports bulk supplies to and from bars and maintains bar cleanliness. The role assists Bartenders with friendly, courteous beverage preparation and service in accordance with established procedures. The Barback reports to the Supervisor on duty for daily assignments and performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of inventory procedures and stocking.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with team members.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle money and make correct change.
• Ability to understand and comply with departmental and Company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Supervisor on duty for daily assignments.
• Transport and stock beer, soda, bag-in-box products, and other bulk items needed at bars and venues.
• Transport and stock glassware at bars and venues.
• Unload deliveries to bars and venues.
• Clean floors, drains, and mats at bars and venues.
• Use the correct elevators and delivery routes to designated bars and venues.
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of bars and venues.
• Prepare mixes and garnishes.
• Assist Bartenders with drink preparation as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of current hotel activities, beverage outlets, and operations.
• Get change for Bartenders as required.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
