About The Position

Food & Thought 2 is hiring a part-time, hourly, non-exempt Barback in Naples, Florida. The Barback supports bartenders and helps keep the bar stocked, clean, and efficient in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The position involves maintaining supplies and inventory, following food safety and sanitation guidelines, and communicating with team members. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States. English proficiency, reliable transportation, and required non-slip shoes are also specified.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and move continuously throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to hot or cold conditions.
• Manual dexterity to handle glassware, bottles, and bar tools safely and efficiently.
• Comfort working around loud noise, bright lights, and cleaning agents.
• Ability to climb a step stool or ladder when needed.
• Clear vision and hearing to communicate effectively and ensure safety in a busy bar setting.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders by restocking beverages, garnishes, glassware, and bar tools as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including counters, floors, and equipment.
• Remove trash and recyclables and ensure proper disposal throughout the shift.
• Refill ice bins and maintain adequate stock of bar supplies during service.
• Assist in receiving, organizing, and rotating inventory.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines required by Florida health regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
• Perform duties safely and in compliance with company policies and local labor laws.
