About The Position

Loews Atlanta Hotel is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Barback to support smooth and efficient bar operations. The Barback keeps the bar organized, clean, stocked, and ready so bartenders can provide exceptional guest experiences. The role works closely with bartenders, servers, and managers in a fast-paced hospitality environment and may require varying schedules to meet business needs.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a bar or restaurant setting.
Ability to lift, pull, or push more than 75 pounds.
Ability to continually bend, lift, carry, and stoop.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Fine dining experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Replenish and restock liquor, beer, wine, ice, glassware, garnishes, and other bar supplies throughout shifts.
Assist bartenders with setting up and breaking down the bar before and after shifts or events.
Prepare garnishes and other drink essentials, including citrus wedges, cherries, and olives.
Maintain bar cleanliness by washing and drying glassware, wiping surfaces, and regularly removing trash.
Keep tools, equipment, and supplies organized and accessible.
Clear dirty glasses and empty drinkware from guest tables and bar counters.
Monitor stock levels and notify bartenders or management when supplies are running low.
Provide friendly assistance to guests with basic requests or questions.
Support bartenders during peak hours to help ensure timely beverage service.
Follow health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-law requirements.
Maintain regular attendance and attend mandatory training sessions and meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
