About The Position

Tuckers Tavern, a part of Fearless Restaurants, is seeking a Barback to provide quick, efficient, and friendly service to customers. Fearless Restaurants is a multi-concept group of 10 independent restaurants based in Philadelphia, PA and Long Beach Island, NJ, known for its talent, teamwork, resources, and opportunity, with a workplace built on loyalty and respect. Tuckers Tavern is a popular coastal American restaurant in Beach Haven, featuring a raw bar, local craft beers, a covered outdoor patio, a Bouy bar, two indoor bars with dining areas, and two separate dining rooms, one with a fireplace. It is also available for private parties year-round.

Requirements

Previous barback experience
Knowledge of bar menu items
Friendly attitude
Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Responsible
Ability to regularly lift 30lbs

Responsibilities

Stock the bar station with liquor, straws, napkins, and garnishes to prepare for service.
Clean up the bar, remove glasses and bottles, change kegs, refill ice bins, and restock bar stations during service hours.
Help bartenders with closing the bar, cleaning, removing garbage, and restocking after the bar closes.
Stocking bar with liquor, syrups, glassware, napkins, and other items before, during, and after service.
Preparing garnishes, refilling ice wells, and changing beer kegs.
Cleaning up spills, removing glassware, and organizing the counter.
Working as a team with service staff, management, and kitchen to ensure efficient and friendly service.
Handling urgent situations such as broken glass, spills, and clogged drains.
