About The Position

Sueno, Tender Mercy, and Three Birds are hospitality concepts owned and operated by The Idea Collective in Dayton, Ohio. Applicants may be considered by hiring managers at one or more locations if a position becomes available; this posting does not represent an immediate opening. Sueno is a contemporary Mexican restaurant in downtown Dayton.

The Barback supports the bar program by anticipating needs, helping the team, polishing glassware, keeping ice wells full and products stocked, and assisting with a quality guest experience. The role is physical and fast-paced. With training and as appropriate, the barback may pour beer and wine. A desire to learn and a base-level understanding of the food and beverage menus are expected; training and resources will be provided. Candidates with the desire, skills, and follow-through may eventually be promoted to other front-of-house positions.

Requirements

• Desire to be an ultimate team player and support coworkers.
• Base-level knowledge of the food and beverage menus, or willingness to obtain that knowledge through provided training.
• Ability to perform physical work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
