About The Position

The Barback supports bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized throughout service. The role includes restocking liquor, beer, and supplies; maintaining glassware and bar tools; assisting with basic drink preparation; and helping ensure a smooth workflow behind the bar. It requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

This is a seasonal, full-time position for Winter 2026–27. The wage range is $14.00 per hour plus tips. Applicants must be at least 21. A background check and driver verification are not required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to manage and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• English reading, writing, and communication skills, plus basic math.
• Idaho State Police Alcohol Beverage Training Certificate; the employer will help the employee acquire it.

Nice To Haves

• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock and maintain bar supplies, including beer, liquor, and cooler inventory.
• Keep the bar and deck clean by picking up and emptying trash and bussing tables.
• Assist servers, bartenders, and supervisors with bar cleanup during and after each shift.
• Assist with preparation, organization, and setup for opening.
• Update beer books and digital menus.
• Count and enter inventory monthly.
• Assist with monitoring, tracking, and invoicing internal transfers and parties or events.
• Assist with costing beer, liquor, wine, and drink specials.
• Maintain glassware and bar tools and assist with basic drink preparation.
