About The Position

The Fairmont Olympic Hotel is seeking a dedicated, motivated Part-Time Seasonal Barback to support bar operations at The George Restaurant in its historic downtown Seattle hotel. The role assists bartenders with beverage preparation and service, keeps the bar and equipment clean and organized, replenishes supplies, and helps the team provide a smooth and welcoming guest experience. The position has a tentative end date of January 1, 2027.

Requirements

Valid authorization to work in the United States.
Food Handler’s Card and MAST permit required.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a barback or in a similar role is preferred, but not required; training is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages accurately and efficiently.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area and related equipment.
Replenish bar supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and ingredients.
Collaborate with the bar team to support smooth and efficient operations.
Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Follow safety and sanitation standards.
