About The Position
The Barback/Busser supports restaurant operations by preparing and cleaning tables between guests, maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant, assisting bar staff with stocking and inventory, and supporting servers with their daily tasks. The role also involves cleaning spills and messes as they occur and helping with other restaurant duties as needed. The position is managed by OTO Development, a hotel development and management company that owns and operates upscale select-service, extended-stay, and lifestyle hotels.
Requirements
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work well on a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Comfort standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare tables between guests.
- Keep the restaurant clean and maintained by sweeping, dusting, and picking up trash.
- Support bar staff, keep liquor stocked, and maintain inventory.
- Support servers in their daily tasks.
- Clean up messes and spills as they occur.
- Help with other restaurant duties as needed.
