About The Position
The Bar Back transports bulk supplies and glassware to and from bars, unloads deliveries, and maintains bar cleanliness. The role is based at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, a hotel on oceanfront Collins Avenue known for its history, architecture, design, art, music, fashion, and guest experiences.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- Responsible Vendor Alcohol Training is required.
- Knowledge of electrical equipment usage.
- Ability to perform basic math skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
- Knowledge and understanding of, and compliance with, policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions.
- Ability to tolerate varying noise levels, temperatures, illumination, and air quality.
- Ability to perform prolonged walking and standing; bend, kneel, and reach from floor level to ceiling; and transport, push, pull, and maneuver items weighing up to 250 pounds.
- Sense of smell, touch, and sound; normal vision range; eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity; and ability to distinguish between letters or symbols.

- Relevant experience in a high-quality, high-volume operation is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Transport beer, soda, and other bulk items to bars as required.
- Transport glassware to bars.
- Unload items delivered to bars.
- Clean floors, drains, and bar mats.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
