About The Position

Join our team as a Banquet Manager and play a key role in creating exceptional events and memorable guest experiences at The Sunny. We are seeking an energetic, organized, and service-focused leader to oversee banquet operations in a fast-paced, upscale environment. As Banquet Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of banquet and special events, ensuring every function is delivered with excellence. This role oversees the hiring, training, scheduling, and development of banquet team members while fostering a culture of teamwork, hospitality, and service excellence. Responsibilities include supervising event set-up, ensuring proper placement of linens, china, silverware, and glassware according to event specifications, as well as inspecting function spaces and equipment to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, inventory, and presentation. Working closely with the Culinary, Sales, and Operations teams, you will help ensure seamless event execution from initial planning through final guest departure. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, has a passion for hospitality, and is committed to delivering unforgettable experiences for every guest.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory/management experience and skills
  • Requires computer skills
  • Strong business communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years banquet management experience preferred
  • Previous hotel food and beverage experience preferred
