About The Position

The Banquet Set Up team member prepares banquet spaces at Bottleworks Hotel by setting up tables, chairs, table skirting, and audiovisual equipment according to provided diagrams and instructions. The role helps ensure a positive guest experience by responding promptly to guest requests, communicating with staff, maintaining a professional appearance, and following health and safety practices. During and after events, the team member maintains work areas, completes side duties, returns equipment to storage, and resets the space for the next event based on the BEO or manager instructions. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Must be 15 years or older.
Must have U.S. work authorization.
Must be available nights and weekends.
Must be able to carry a tray weighing up to 50 lbs to shoulder height without assistance.
Must be able to stand and/or walk for the entire shift.
Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment.
Maintain a clean, properly worn uniform and professional appearance.
Maintain a positive attitude and manner.

Responsibilities

Set up banquet tables, chairs, table skirting, and audiovisual equipment according to provided diagrams and instructions.
Follow health and safety practices at all times.
Respond promptly to guest requests.
Communicate clearly and openly with other staff to support event success.
Maintain work areas and complete side duties during setup and before clocking out.
After banquets, return tables, chairs, table skirting, and audiovisual equipment to storage and reset the space for the next event according to the BEO or manager instructions.
Clean and wipe down work areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
