About The Position

The Banquet Server at Bottleworks Hotel provides guests with quality food and beverage service in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, helping create a memorable dining experience. The role involves preparing banquet spaces and completing event-related service and cleanup while communicating with the team and responding to guest requests. The position requires availability on nights and weekends and is part-time. Pay is $10 per hour plus gratuity.

Requirements

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to carry a tray weighing up to 30 pounds at shoulder height without assistance.
Ability to stand and/or walk for the entire shift.
Must be available nights and weekends.
Knowledge of POS systems.
U.S. work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

Set up banquet rooms as instructed, including linens and china.
Follow health and safety practices at all times.
Complete all preparation work before the event begins.
Create a pleasurable dining experience for guests.
Serve food and beverages consistently throughout the event.
Respond promptly to guest requests.
Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and appropriate manner.
Communicate clearly and openly with staff to support event success.
Maintain work areas and complete side duties during the event.
After the banquet, remove linens, silverware, china, and trays from the space.
Clean and wipe down work areas and complete all side duties before clocking out.
Bring a positive attitude and contribute to a fun and memorable guest experience.
