The Condado Collection is a collection of hospitality properties in Puerto Rico, ranging from classic and modern luxury hotels to restaurants and entertainment. La Concha Resort is a modern luxury resort in Condado, Puerto Rico with a history dating back to 1958. Requirements

Hospitality service orientation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to lift and carry items up to 60 pounds.
Must be able to bend, squat, and stretch for periods of 2 to 3 hours, as well as stand and walk for most of an 8-hour shift.
Great attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure, even with minimal supervision.
Full command of Spanish and English is required.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Read the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and organize rooms as specified in the BEOs.
Be fully familiar with various types of setups, including but not limited to: Classroom Style, Theater Style, Conference Style, U-Shape, Hollow Square, Hollow Rectangle, Banquet Style, T-Shape, and E-Shape.
Correctly and efficiently set up and break down all functions for the department.
Coordinate with corresponding departments and individuals for the efficient organization of banquet rooms and halls.
Assist in the moving and positioning of large items, including stages, tables, and chairs, and provide guidance on their proper placement.
Check room temperature and lighting, making adjustments as necessary, and confirm that all electrical connections are functional.
Receive and secure materials and supplies from vendors, ensuring they are stored safely.
Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of banquet areas during and after each event.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
Complete safety training and certifications.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to achieve common goals.
Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, and maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information.
Perform other reasonable tasks as requested by the supervisor.
