About The Position

Newport Hospitality is seeking highly motivated Banquet Setup Team Members who are passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences. The role transforms event spaces for occasions such as weddings and corporate conferences, helping ensure smooth execution before, during, and after each event. Duties may adapt to meet evolving business needs. Offers are contingent on background checks, and team members must follow Newport Handbook policies.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Flexibility to work holidays, weekends, and varying shifts in a 24/7 operation.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables, chairs, linens, staging, and decor according to event specifications.
• Ensure event venues are clean and presentable before guests arrive.
• Remove and store equipment efficiently after events.
• Thoroughly clean event spaces and report any damages.
• Move equipment safely and maintain organized storage areas.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety protocols, including PCI compliance, and mitigate hazards.
