About The Position
The Banquet Server provides prompt, courteous service to guests during events, attends to guest needs, and helps ensure a high-quality dining experience that encourages repeat business. The role includes serving food and drinks, answering questions about food, wine, menus, and buffets, accommodating reasonable special requests, and preparing event rooms by setting tablecloths, dishes, and silverware.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous banquet experience.
- Ability to think on your feet and work calmly under pressure.
- Ability to contribute to a collaborative and diverse team dynamic.
- Passion for customer service.
- Food Handler’s and Liquor Permits are required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous banquet experience in a hotel environment is preferred.
