About The Position

Banquet Servers provide prompt, courteous service to guests and attend to their needs to make event dining experiences flawless and encourage repeat business. The role includes serving food and drinks, answering guest questions about food, wine, menus, or buffets, accommodating reasonable special requests, and preparing event rooms by setting tablecloths, dishes, and silverware.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous banquet experience.
• Ability to think on your feet and work calmly under pressure.
• Ability to contribute to a collaborative and diverse team dynamic.
• Passion for customer service.
• Food Handler’s permit.
• Liquor permit.
• Ability to accommodate varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and to walk, bend, twist, climb stairs, and occasionally carry or lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous banquet experience in a hotel environment is preferred.
