Requirements

  • Exceptional guest service skills required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Six months to a year related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to lift and carry a server’s tray and dinner plates on a continuous basis.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Health Card (Food Worker Card).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) Class 13 Servers Permit.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a restaurant server preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up the banquet room and back-of-house service area under the direction of the Banquet Manager or Shift Supervisor according to event specifications, including arranging tableware and gathering necessary service items.
  • Greet guests warmly on arrival and interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner.
  • Maintain buffet throughout meal service, including replenishing food items and ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests, during plated events, in a timely, courteous and efficient manner.
  • Serve and refill alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to banquet guests.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, relaying inquiries to the Banquet Manager or Shift Supervisor.
  • Clear plates, glassware, and utensils during and after meal service; reset tables as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of back of house service area during and after an event.
  • Assist in resetting banquet rooms and back of house service area after the banquet.
  • May provide service of alcohol within the guidelines set forth by the MAST training program.
  • Ensure all workstations are stocked, neat, clean and sanitary.
  • Complete all side work in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Works’ days, nights, weekends, special events and holidays as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
