About The Position
THE IN AT LONGSHORE IS SEEKING BANQUET SERVERS & BANQUET BARTENDERS TO JOIN OUR TEAM! We are seeking friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Banquet Servers and Bartenders to join our events team. As a Banquet Server and Bartender, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service during weddings, corporate events, galas, and private parties. If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and love being part of memorable moments, we’d love to meet you!
Requirements
- Previous banquet, catering, or restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Positive attitude and a team player mindset
Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications (tables, linens, silverware, etc.)
- Greet guests and provide outstanding food and beverage service
- Serve plated meals, buffets, and beverages efficiently and professionally
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and event staff to ensure smooth service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet spaces
- Assist in post-event breakdown and clean-up
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and hospitality standards
