About The Position

Hilton Los Angeles Airport is seeking an on-call Banquet Server to provide food and beverage service and help create memorable guest experiences. The role involves setting up and supporting banquet events, serving guests efficiently and courteously, and maintaining clean, organized service and event areas. Team members are expected to deliver Hilton’s hospitality standards and comply with applicable health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management.
• Must meet California’s legal age requirement to serve alcohol, when applicable.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and commitment to exceptional guest service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while setting up banquet spaces, serving food and beverages, and maintaining clean, organized event areas.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat, friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively make the guest experience special.
• Learn menu items and specials to answer guest questions confidently.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and deliver orders promptly and accurately.
• Keep the service station stocked, clean, and organized.
• Clear and transport dishware, glassware, and silverware to the dishwashing area after meal service.
• Assist with cleaning, arranging, and setting banquet tables, and restocking supplies to support event preparation.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
• Work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
