About The Position
At Four Seasons Resort Hualālai, Banquet Servers support weddings, conferences, social events, and private functions by providing personalized food and beverage service and genuine hospitality. The role helps create memorable guest experiences through thoughtful attention to detail, clear communication, and service that reflects Four Seasons standards. The position includes presenting menu selections, sharing knowledge about ingredients and preparation, communicating guest requests and dietary needs to culinary and banquet leadership, and delivering food and beverage items efficiently. Banquet Servers also help set up and break down events, maintain clean and attractive event spaces, and collaborate with Banquets, Culinary, Stewarding, and Resort teams. The role requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Requirements
- Obtain a Tuberculosis (TB) clearance card as required by the Hawaii State Department of Health for food and beverage work.
- At least one year of food service, restaurant, banquet, or related hospitality experience.
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating meaningful connections through service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to carry and balance serving trays while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
- Collaborative approach and willingness to support fellow team members.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Responsibilities
- Provide food and beverage service during weddings, conferences, social events, and private functions throughout the resort.
- Present menu selections and explain ingredients, preparation methods, and culinary offerings.
- Communicate guest requests and dietary needs accurately to culinary and banquet leadership teams.
- Deliver food and beverage items efficiently while maintaining quality, presentation, and Four Seasons service standards.
- Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and create personalized guest experiences.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including linen, china, glassware, silverware, buffet displays, and décor elements.
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing event spaces before, during, and after functions.
- Collaborate with Banquets, Culinary, Stewarding, and Resort teams to support event execution.
