About The Position

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is seeking a reliable, consistent, and service-oriented Banquet Server to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This 3/4-time, benefits-eligible episodic position is part-time, with hours and schedules that may fluctuate based on operational demands. The work schedule varies and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business and event needs. The hiring range is $21 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide a friendly and professional atmosphere for guests.
• Attend to guests’ needs and requests.
• Work as part of a team with other servers to provide high-quality service.
• Provide service that meets or exceeds museum standards.
• Follow proper serving etiquette.
• Adhere to policies and procedures in the Server Training Manual.
• Set up rooms according to diagrams, including arranging tables, chairs, tablecloths, and tableware.
• Break down the event area as assigned by the Banquet Captain and return equipment to its designated storage area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
