About The Position

Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort, an historic luxury resort in Tucson, Arizona, is seeking a highly organized and experienced Banquet Manager to oversee all banquet operations. The role leads a dedicated team in delivering exceptional event experiences through seamless coordination and outstanding guest satisfaction. Events include weddings, corporate functions, and private parties. The position works closely with the culinary team, sales department, and other resort staff.

Requirements

Proven experience in banquet management or a related hospitality leadership role.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and inventory control.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Knowledge of banquet operations, health and safety standards, and event planning software.
Proven training and computer skills, with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and execute banquet events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties.
Manage banquet staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with the culinary team, sales department, and other resort staff to ensure successful event delivery.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understand client needs, and exceed expectations.
Monitor budgets, manage inventory, and ensure the profitability of banquet operations.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Gather guest feedback and implement solutions to continuously improve banquet services.
