About The Position

Noelle serves as a gathering place for some of the city's most interesting voices and makers as it continues to contribute to the spirit that makes it so unique. This individual takes pride in everything they do from creating memorable experiences for guests to leading a team of individuals that have a heightened attention to detail. This leader will ensure that all banquets and events are executed to perfection from the tiniest detail, functions are set up, managed efficiently, and follow a strict timeline.

Requirements

Prior experience with the creation and execution of sales contracts is required
Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay organized
Outstanding negotiation and financial oversight skills
Approachable and professional personality and demeanor required
Must be able to walk to and around during events/banquets/etc.
Required to use Outlook Office products, including Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
Adhere to Makeready & property policies and procedures as defined

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a Banquet Manager or on a Banquets team highly preferred

Responsibilities

Discuss sales contract and negotiation details with the Banquet Director and Banquet Chef
Completion of Banquet Event Orders in an accurate and timely fashion
Oversee the seating of guests, the serving of meals and beverages, and breakdown
Answering client’s queries and accommodating any special requests
Assign duties for Banquet staff as needed
Oversee décor, layouts
Maintain and assist with records for inventory, labor costs, food costs, etc.
Take care of special requests from guests as needed
Adhere to Makeready's Guiding Principles
Additional duties and assignments, as assigned
