Hacienda Del Sol Resort is seeking a highly organized and experienced Banquet Manager to oversee all banquet operations at our esteemed resort in Tucson, AZ. The ideal candidate will lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional event experiences, ensuring seamless coordination and outstanding guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Banquet Manager or similar role in hospitality or event management.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Knowledge of banquet operations, health and safety standards, and event planning software.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Proven training and computer skills with ability to to effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time and the ability to work indoors and outdoors.

Nice To Haves

  • MICROS and Opera experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute all banquet events from start to finish.
  • Coordinate with clients, event planners, and internal departments to ensure event requirements are met.
  • Manage banquet staff schedules, training, and performance.
  • Oversee setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Resolve any guest issues promptly and professionally to ensure high satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and catering teams to guarantee quality food and beverage service.
  • Prepare reports on event outcomes and provide recommendations for improvement.
