About The Position

The Banquet Houseperson completes the setup of meeting rooms and event areas according to guest specifications and ensures all functions are set up correctly and on time. The role calls for a service-minded team member who enjoys creating guest experiences and solving problems, and who demonstrates patience, empathy, and a commitment to excellent service.

Requirements

• One year of experience as a Banquet Houseperson or Event Houseperson.
• Basic knowledge of banquet department operations.
• Ability to serve guests through verbal, face-to-face interactions.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to high guest satisfaction.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift, move, pull, and push moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to work AM, PM, weekend, and holiday shifts as operational needs require.
• Experience in a hotel or resort environment.
