About The Position
The Banquet Houseperson helps ensure events meet guests’ needs by setting up, cleaning, and taking down banquets. The role also includes supplying and replenishing meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water. The work is active and requires standing or sitting, carrying and lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending or twisting, and climbing stairs. The position requires flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- At least one month of related experience.
- Passion for customer service.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Ability to stand or sit, carry or lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend or twist, and climb stairs.
- Ability to accommodate varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Set up banquets according to guest specifications.
- Break down and clean up banquets at the conclusion of events.
- Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
